Dramatic Academic Growth
Introduction
Dramatic Academic Growth represents the gains my students experienced while in my class. The gains my students developed is a result of culturally responsive pedagogy, data-driven instruction, and differentiation. To fully demonstrate the growth my students experienced data from both quantitative and qualitative sources must be analyzed, this ensures that students full range of skills are being assessed.

To analyze my students' quantitative growth in my class I will be examining data from a teacher-created assessment. Students were assessed by completing the online Fluency assessment in quarter one and again in quarter three, data will be compared and contrasted to illustrate my students' growth. To analyze my students' qualitative growth in my class I will be examining data from our extended written responses, Claim Evidence and Reasoning (CER). Student performance on CER is indicative of their understanding and mastery of content. Data from three CERs (one from quarter one, one from quarter two, and one from quarter three) will be examined to demonstrate the growth and progress my students have made through the school year.

Conclusion
Transformative teachers utilize quantitative evidence and qualitative evidence when examining student growth because data from these two areas demonstrates students' level of mastery and achievement. My students have experienced dramatic academic growth which can be is evident in their chapter assessments average, Fluency Assessment average, and in their scientific writing on extended responses. The growth my students experienced is a result of dedicated students, data-driven instruction, and research-based instructional strategies. My students' current progress and projected results demonstrate that all students are capable of dramatic academic growth over the course of the school year.
